Exmouth's new nightclub, Popworld, is having a recruitment day this weekend.

Fever, the previous incarnation of the nightclub in The Parade, held a farewell party on Saturday, July 6.

Popworld has taken over the town centre premises now and according to its website will open on Friday, September 6.

The club's new owners, Stonegate, are looking for fun and enthusiastic people to 'join the Popworld Party'.

A recruitment day has been organised for Saturday, August 3, at The Merchant between 10am and 4pm.

There are a number of positions available, including, bar staff, floor staff, cash desk clerk and cloakroom assistant.

A spokesperson for Popworld said: "Are you fun, enthusiastic and ready to join the Popworld Party?

"We've got lots of exciting new job opportunities on offer. Are you ready to join the biggest party in town? Come see us this Saturday, we'd love to meet you."
