One East Devon COVID-19 death, no further deaths in Devon, latest statistics show

One death related to COVID-19 was recorded in Devon for the period of 3-9 April, according to the latest statistics.

The patient, from East Devon, died in hospital. COVID-19 was listed on their death certificate.

Figures from the Office of National Statistics show that for the same period, no further deaths were recorded in the rest of the county.

The single Devon death for the period of 3-9 April follows another death for the period of 27 March - 2 April, which was in a Mid Devon hospital.

There have been 82 deaths related to COVID-19 in East Devon since the start of 2021.
