An Exmouth woman who brings joy to hundreds of children has been filing empty tummies during the half term.

Lisa Hamer, who is better known as Mrs Snuggles, has been handing out free pack lunches since Monday in response to the Government's decision to not provide free school meals to children who need them over the holiday.

Mrs Snuggles has been offering free packed lunches to any child who receives free school meals, since Monday - with the scheme finishing tomorrow (Friday, October 30).

Lisa said: "No child should go hungry!

"And, that's why I used my social media platform to offer a child's free packed lunch this half term.

"Covid has had an effect on many individuals, families and businesses, peoples lives have been effected by Covid one way or another.

"It's important to support my local community like they have supported Mrs Snuggles."

If you would like a pack lunch for your child for tomorrow, message Mrs Snuggles on Facebook HERE.
