Patient airlifted to hospital with help from Exmouth Coastguard Rescue Team

Exmouth Coastguard Rescue Team were sent to man the helicopter landing site at Exeter School last night for an incoming rescue.

The rescue team helped the Coastguard helicopter's aircrew with a stretcher carrying a patient who needed urgent treatment at Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

A spokesperson for the Coastguard rescue team said: "We wish the patient a speedy recovery. Great to work with the Coastguard helicopter crews again. It's been a while."
