A person was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a "fall from height" in the Exmouth area at the weekend.

The incident saw a large emergency response after 11pm on Saturday (11 November), with police, the ambulance service, HM Coastguard, Exmouth RNLI and Devon Air Ambulance mobilised.

The injured person was treated at the scene, then stretchered to a road ambulance.

The ambulance then drove them to a waiting air ambulance at a sports ground in Exmouth to be flown to hospital.
