Hundreds of people took part in this year's Exmouth Christmas Day swim (click on the arrow on the right side of the image scroll through our picture gallery).
The Christmas Day Swim is a truly unorganised event which has become a firm tradition in Exmouth.
It is believed this unusual and generally ice cold affair began in 1970 and has taken place every year since.
It is thought to be one of the last true Christmas traditions in Exmouth and it attracts thousands of people every year.
