A planning application to change the use of a shopfront in Exmouth to a Papa Johns takeaway outlet has been approved by East Devon District Council.

However, it is yet not clear if or when Papa Johns will move into the shopfront. The company has been contacted for comment.

The location for the new pizza parlour would be 44 The Parade, which is currently occupied by a Greggs bakery. (Greggs will move to a different location in the town).

In the local area, Papa Johns has four takeaway outlets: in Exeter, Newton Abbot, Torquay, and Paignton.
