A planning application to change the use of a shopfront in Exmouth to a Papa Johns takeaway outlet has been submitted to East Devon District Council.

The location for the new pizza parlour would be 44 The Parade, which is currently occupied by a Greggs bakery.

Greggs will reportedly move to a different place in the town.

In the local area, Papa Johns has four takeaway outlets: in Exeter, Newton Abbot, Torquay, and Paignton.

The application was validated on Monday 20 June, and is awaiting a decision from the council.
