Police have issued an appeal for CCTV or doorbell footage after reports of four burglaries in the Budleigh Salterton area.

Small items, such as bank cards and jewellery, were taken after an individual forced entry to the properties.

Officers say they already have some good CCTV images of the 25- to 45-year-old "stocky" male suspect, who was wearing a face covering and beanie hat and carrying a backpack.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "This week we are currently investigating reports of four burglaries in the Budleigh Salterton area.

"Entry has been forced to the properties and small items such as bank cards and jewellery have been taken.

"We have some good CCTV images of the suspect described as male, aged between 25 and 45 years, stocky build, wearing a face covering and beanie hat and carrying a backpack."

If you have CCTV or doorbell footage which may show the suspect you can get in touch with police via 101 or email [email protected] and quote ref #50230029653.
