Police are appealing for witnesses of a road traffic collision that happened on the B3178 in Budleigh Salterton at around 7pm on Saturday 15 May.

The collision involved a silver Audi A3 and a red Kia Nero.

The driver of the Audi was flown by air ambulance to Derriford Hospital where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.

The occupants of the Kia had minor injuries.

Dashcam footage that may show the vehicles involved prior to the incident would also be useful.
