Police called to brawl involving 20 youths in Exmouth town centre

Police were called to a brawl involving around 20 young people in Exmouth Town Centre in the early hours of this morning.

More than 20 young people were involved in the altercation in The Strand at around 12am today (August 8) and one woman was reported to be unconscious.

The fight had already dispersed when police officers arrived at the scene and no one has come forward to report a crime.

A police spokesperson told Exmouth Nub News: "Police were informed of an altercation between around 20 youths, both males and females, at the Strand in Exmouth just past midnight on Thursday 8 August.

"Reports came in that a female was unconscious, however, was then reported to be okay.

"The group dispersed just before officers arrived at the scene."
