Police investigate reports of stalking in Exmouth

Police have released an e-fit of a man that they would like to speak to in connection with reports of stalking in Exmouth.

The incident was reported to have happened during the afternoon of Tuesday 5 March on Belvedere Road.

The victim, an 18-year-old woman, was reported to have been approached whilst walking home by a man who made threats to harm her. The man grabbed the victims arm and made further verbal threats before leaving on foot. The victim was uninjured.

The suspect is described as a white man, around 25-years-old, about 5ft 7-8ins tall and of medium build. He had short brown hair, light brown eyes and facial hair. He was wearing a black coat with fur on the hood, dark blue jogging bottoms and dark blue Nike trainers.

The victim, with support of specialist officers, has created the e-fit.

Officers investigating would like to hear from anyone who was in the Belvedere Road area on Tuesday and saw a man matching the description above.
