Police issue urgent appeal for information after elderly woman dies in car park collision

Police have issued an urgent request for information after an elderly woman died following a crash in an Exmouth car park.
Devon and Cornwall Police are asking anyone with information on the incident in All Saints Church's car park on Tuesday (December 10) to get in touch.
Shortly before 4.45pm on Tuesday a single vehicle collision occurred in the car park of All Saints Church, Exeter Road, Exmouth between a Ford Fiesta and a pedestrian.
The Ford Fiesta was driven by an elderly woman local to the area; she was uninjured in the collision.
As a result of the collision the pedestrian who is an 84-year-old woman local to the Exmouth area sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Local officers as well as officers from the Roads Policing Team, and Serious Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Police on 101 quoting the log number 580 of the 10 December.
