Three Exmouth churches are set to remain open until 2pm this Sunday 27 February to 'pray for Ukraine'.

It comes as Russian forces invade Ukraine and descend on the capital Kyiv.

Holy Trinity Church on Rolle Road, the Parish Church of Saint Margaret & Saint Andrew Littleham, and Lympstone Parish Church will all remain open tomorrow.

The public are invited to 'come inside, light a candle, and take some time to pray for peace'.
