Property Fire at Farringdon

Date: 21.03.2019Time: 05:52Location: FarringdonFire appliances from Middlemoor, Danes Castle and Topsham were sent to a fire in a kitchen. Crews arrived on scene, and investigated with breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet. A positive pressure fan was also used to clear the smoke to aid the investigation.The fire was caused by an electrical fault in the consumer unit. Crews isolated the electrics to make the property safe. The kitchen was moderately damaged by smoke and a small amount by fire. Duty of care was left with the occupant.
