Exmouth based running group, Tri-Hards, are inviting the community to come together in memory of the late TV presenter, Caroline Flack.

On Sunday, 5 April, a 5K run will take place starting at The Grapevine in Exmouth at 3pm. It costs £12 to participate and all proceeds will go towards mental health charity, The Quiet Mind Centre.

Event organiser, Shelly Stammers said: "Following the tragic suicide of 'Love Island' presenter, Caroline Flack, we decided to organise a run to raise awareness and funds for The Quiet Mind Centre in Exmouth.

"Caroline Flack openly discussed her battle with mental health on social media and encouraged her followers to reach out and be kind to others.

"We want to back her campaign to be kind and hope that people will join us in raising money to support people in our local community to have happier, quieter minds."

All runners will receive a glass of fizz and cake after finishing, along with a bespoke running T-shirt sponsored by Tesco.

"We will be putting Caroline's quote onto the back of the tops and choosing a bright colour to represent her personality," Shelly added.
