Road Traffic Collision at Four Firs Cross, Devon

Date: 01.10.2018Time: 16:29Location: Four Firs Cross, DevonFire engines from Exmouth and Topsham were sent to a report of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles with someone reported as still being inside one of the vehicles.The crews used hydraulic cutting equipment attempting to release the casualty whilst treating a walking wounded and another casualty until arrival of the Ambulance service. The casualty was successfully extricated by fire crews using the cutting equipment under the guidance of Ambulance personnel.The crews are currently handing over duty of care over to the Police and Ambulance.
