Self-employed? New sole trader restart grants now available in East Devon

A new grant has now become available to those who are self-employed or registered as sole traders in East Devon.

The Discretionary Restart Grant scheme is open to applications for businesses in all sectors that were ineligible for non-discretionary Restart Grants but were still forced to close or have had their business impacted by COVID-19 restrictions since 1 April 2021.

Only businesses that can provide evidence of 'fixed costs' are eligible - but these can be at any level, with no minimum monthly amount.

If you have received Additional Restrictions Grants in the past, you will have been emailed a link to streamline the process to access the extra funding.

Click here for more information and to apply for the Discretionary Restart Grant.

If your business is registered for business rates and operates from non-essential retail, hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care or gym business premises, you should apply for the Restart Grant instead.
