Serious injury collision near Sidmouth

Two taken to hospital

Police were called at around 7.12pm on Monday 26 November following reports of a two vehicle collision on the A3052 at Bowd, near Sidmouth.

Emergency services attended the scene and the road was closed following the collision, which involved an Audi A8 and a Rover 25.

The occupants of the Rover, a 74-year-old woman and a 99-year-old man sustained serious injuries and were taken to RD&E by land ambulance.

The road was closed for five hours whilst emergency services attended the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 716, 26 November.
