Exmouth Police attended an incident at the weekend in which a suspected drink driver drove straight past their patrol car - but was later found to be a 14-year-old.

They had reportedly taken their parents' car out for a drive.

They have since been reported for driving without a licence or insurance.

Special Constables, who are voluntary officers but have the same powers as regular police, were at the scene.
