A Yellow Weather Warning has been issued for the Exmouth area by the Met Office, with flooding 'likely'.

The Met Office issued the weather warning for heavy rain today (November 22) and has told the public to expect:

-Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely.

-Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer.

-Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer.

-Some interruption to power supplies and other services likely.

The weather warning runs from 12pm today until midnight on Saturday, November 23.

For the rest of today we can expect heavy rain with a risk of hail and thunder with more 'heavy and persistent rain spreading across the area later. Tonight the maximum temperature will be 9C.

On Saturday the heavy rain will continue across the area with frequent downpours predicted. There will be some drier spells as the day goes on and the wind will become lighter. Saturday's maximum temperature will be 11C.

Sunday will start dry but more rain is on its way from the west.
