UPDATE: Cyclist taken to hospital in 'serious condition' - Knowle Hill closed in both directions

Knowle Hill, B3178, is closed in both directions this evening after a crash involving a car and a cyclist.
Police were notified at around 12.55pm today following reports of a collision between a car and a bicycle on Exmouth Road near Budleigh Salterton. The road is closed from the Woodbury turn off to the Bicton Park turn off.
A police spokesperson told Nub News: "Police along with the Ambulance Services attended the scene. Road closures are still currently in place.
"The male cyclist has been taken to hospital in a serious condition."
