Van driver taken to hospital after A3052 Sidmouth Road crash

The driver of a van was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a car on the A3052 Sidmouth Road on Sunday (2 July).

Police were called at around 1.15pm to the scene near Farringdon and the road was cleared by 3.30pm.

The driver of the car sustained minor injuries.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at around 1.15pm on Sunday (2 July) to Sidmouth Road following a report of a two-vehicle collision near Farringdon.

"The driver of a van was taken to hospital with serious injuries, not considered to be life-threatening or changing.

"The driver of a car sustained minor injuries.

"The vehicles were recovered and the road cleared at 3.30pm."
