Vehicle Fire at Bear Lane, Budleigh Salterton

Date: 02.11.2018Time: 22:24Location: Bear Lane, Budleigh SaltertonDevon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received a call from a member of the public reporting a vehicle on fire at the above location.
One fire appliance from Exmouth was immediately mobilised by fire control.On arrival the incident commander confirmed that there was a fire in the engine compartment of the a 4 x 4 vehicle. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
The cause was deemed to be accidental.
