The Easter Bank Holiday weekend is fast approaching and most people are set to get two days off and a lovely, long four-day weekend, and with lockdown easing and the rule of six back, it is starting to feel like spring.

But for councils across Devon, the bank holidays cause disruption to their usual services – not least the waste and recycling collections.

Collections across the county will be different from usual, and councils are reminding residents to check when to put their waste and recycling out for collection.

Here's everything you need to know about the bank holiday waste and recycling collections in Devon and when your bins will be collected.

EAST DEVON

All refuse and recycling collections normally due on Friday, April 2 will be collected one day later on Saturday, April 3.

Collections for the week commencing Monday, April 5, will also be one day later than usual for the whole week.

The normal collection timetable will resume week commencing Monday, April 12.
