Members of the public are being invited to have their say on new proposals to improve visitor experiences at wildlife conservation areas across East Devon.

The East Devon Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust (EDPHCT) and the South East Devon Habitat Regulations Partnership (SEDHRP) are seeking your views on proposals to improve the experience for visitors at the same time as protecting vulnerable wildlife.

The consultation brings together a wide range of proposals including, changes to car parks, resurfacing work, new information boards, improved access for disabled ramblers, closing Estuary View Car Park to general use and a commitment to not charging for parking.

The consultation opened on September 23 and will run to November 4.

East Devon Pebblebed Heaths encompasses a number of conservation areas in East Devon, including: Harpford Common, Hawkerland Common, Colaton Raleigh Common, Woodbury Common, Bicton Common, Lympstone Common, East Budleigh Common, Withycombe Raleigh Common, Dalditch Plantation and Dalditch Common.

A consultation event on visitor access will take place on Thursday, October 10, at Exmouth Town Hall between 2pm and 8pm.
