Two of Exmouth RNLI volunteer crew members will be taking part in the Exmouth RNLI MayDay Mile '72 for 72' event – a 72 kilometre charity relay on Saturday 15 May 2021.

A mayday call is the most urgent plea RNLI lifesavers receive, and is used when life is in immediate danger. Usually our lifesavers answer calls for help. But today, with a busy summer on the horizon, it's they who need YOUR help.

At 11.38am today Tuesday 27 April 2021 Exmouth RNLI all weather lifeboat 13-03 R & J Welburn was launched having been tasked by H.M. Coastguard to a report of a 24ft speedboat suffering from engine failure, out of control and being taken out to sea by a strong tide. Its location was reported as approximately 100 metres south west of Orcombe Point and drifting.

The lifeboat launched at 12:03pm and was commandeered by Exmouth RNLI volunteer crew, Coxswain Steve Hockings-Thompson, Andrew Stott, Robert Thompson, James Edge and Ed Steele.

A new campaign, 'Naturally Healthy May', is due to begin next month to encourage Devon residents to enjoy the great outdoors and improve their wellbeing.

Active Devon, a community-focused non-profit organisation, will be working together with Devon County Council on behalf of the Devon Local Nature Partnership (DLNP) to share ideas on social media of new ways for people to stay healthy and have fun outside.

Live-in CAREGivers allow our clients to remain independent in their own homes.

Home Instead Exeter and East Devon's newly launched live-in care service means that clients have the option of receiving full-time care within their own home.

Day and night, elderly people will have the same CAREGiver with them to perform the tasks that they need help with, whether that's support with mobility or cooking and housework. The CAREGiver has their assigned working hours, but is there at all times in case an emergency arises.
