It's been a long lock down for fans of Bingo but Exmouth Pavilion is bringing it back, so eyes down and markers at the ready!

The pavilion will be hosting Bingo every Monday evening from now on but of course the venue will be sticking to the Government's rules on social distancing.

Exmouth RNLI volunteer crew were assigned yesterday to a report of a motor cruiser in distress off the coast of Budleigh Salterton.

At 8.40pm, Tuesday, September 22, H.M. Coastguard tasked the Exmouth RNLI All Weather Lifeboat to a report of 29 foot motor cruiser in distress east of the coast of Budleigh Salterton.

Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival is celebrating the success of its first ever hybrid virtual and physical festival with more than 11,000 unique pages views of the 31 events since they went online from September 16.

Viewers tuned in from as far away as the USA, Canada and Australia, as well as plenty from closer to home in East Devon, to enjoy this year's line-up, with headliners including writer, comedian, presenter of QI Sandi Toksvig OBE; former British Ambassador to the United States Sir Kim Darroch; behavioural scientist and activist Dr Pragya Agarwal; former Chief Prosecutor Nazir Afzal; and bestselling author and creator of Midsomer Murders Anthony Horowitz.
