A section of the B3180 close to the Halfway House, near Aylesbeare, will be closed later this month for essential drainage repairs.
The road will be closed for up to 10 days from Monday 17 September while improvement work is carried out between the turn off to Aylebeare to an area near Aylesbeare Common Business Park, in preparation for winter. The scheme involves the road being dug up in several places which will make it impassable.
Motorists will still be able to reach West Hill from Daisymount roundabout and anyone travelling to Aylesbeare will be able to access the junction at Halfway House.
However, those who normally use the B3180 to travel from Daisymount to Halfway House will need to find an alternative route and allow extra time for their journey while the road is closed. A signed diversion route will be in place.
