'Train Like a Chief' kids' coaching day at Exmouth RFC Fri 16 April

A team of professional Exeter Chiefs coaches are set to hold a day of coaching at Exmouth RFC on Friday 16 April.

The training is designed for younger players from U7s to U14s inclusive.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there will be more focus on skills training and fun games in accordance with RFU guidelines.

A Chiefs Community spokesperson said: "Camp registration will open at 9:30am at Exmouth RFC outside the clubhouse, with a prompt start at 10am.

"Please be aware that changing facilities will not be available so ensure your child is prepared for the day.

"We ask that you please inform your child that under no circumstance must they share water bottles, shake hands with other children and try their best to not touch their face.

"Attendees will require:

  • Full training kit
  • Appropriate footwear (plastic or short studded boots advised)
  • Trainers if prone to blisters
  • Plenty of water/juice
  • Packed lunch
  • Weather appropriate protection (sun cream/waterproofs)
  • Hand sanitiser (optional)."

The day will begin at 9.30am and finish at 3pm.

The cost of the day is £32.50.
