'Warrior Chimps' are hosting the event, which comprises a five-mile circuit of the grounds finishing inside the castle.

Entrants may run solo, or with a team of 2-8 relay runners.

There are also five- and ten-mile races, together with a children's fun run.

Prices include £65 for a solo runner, £55 for teams per person, £20 for the 10-mile and £15 for the five-mile races.

Camping is permitted and is free for participants but spectators must pay a fee.
