Local football club Exmouth Spartans have donated £80 as part of a monthly draw to suicide bereavement support charity Pete's Dragons.

A spokesperson for the club said: "This months local draw winner chose Pete's Dragons for our £80 donation this month.

"Pete's Dragons is an organisation that helps with suicide bereavement and they do some incredible work in the community.

"We were delighted to be able to contribute."

The Spartans hold the draw every month. There is a prize of £50 for the winner and £25 for the runner-up, followed by a further £80 which the club donates on the winner's behalf to a charity of their choice.

Previous months have seen donations to local charities Children's Hospice South West and Devon Freewheelers Emergency Voluntary Service (aka Devon Blood Bikes).

The draw costs £3 a month. If you would like to take part, you can message the Exmouth Spartans on Facebook.
