Are you passionate about wanting to make a difference to young people's lives?
Do you want a job that is varied and rewarding, where you'll also be getting out and about, planning and organising social activities locally and further afield?
No experience is necessary. We'll provide full training, including British Sign Language (BSL) training.
We're seeking enthusiastic and committed Residential Care Workers to join us at the Deaf Academy. Be part of an inspiring team supporting our students to develop their independent living skills, whilst supporting their education.
Come along to our open morning to find out more about the role. Hear from our Principal, Sylvan Dewing and other key members of our staff about the great benefits we offer and how you can transform our students as they develop language skills and journey towards independence and fulfilling their potential.
You'll also have the opportunity to have a site tour and be shown around our modern state-of-art facilities.
Every day as a Residential Care Worker is different. You'll be supporting our young people who live in our Academy Residential Home with their daily living skills, as well as organising social activities, for example, activities in the local community, trips to the beach, cinema, or bowling, as well as watching games at Exeter City or Exeter Chiefs and trips to Thorpe Park and other attractions.
Working with us you can be certain that you are part of a team that does its utmost to inspire and enable our young people to thrive.
