Concert by Exmoth Choral Society

Holy Trinity Church, Rolle Road, Exmouth

UNTIL Saturday 30th April

Exmouth Choral Society will be returning to Holy Trinity Church on April 30th for our Spring concert, following the hugely successful performance of St. Paul by Mendelssohn in January.

The choir will be performing The Creation, an oratorio written between 1797 and 1798 by Joseph Haydn and considered by many to be one of his masterpieces. The oratorio depicts and celebrates the creation of the world as described in the Book of Genesis.

The choir last performed this work in 2018 and has performed it a total of eleven times since 1895. The choir sponsors a charity at each of its performances and for the Spring concert a retiring collection will be held for Devon Wildlife Trust. The choir also supports the Tickets for Troops scheme which provides free tickets for our concerts to members of the armed forces. Details of the concert and tickets can be found on Exmouth Choral Society website.
