Devon County Council is encouraging adults across Devon to take two rapid lateral flow COVID tests a week now that they have become available.
These tests are for people who don't have any symptoms - if you have symptoms, such as a new and continuous cough, a high temperature, or a change in taste and smell then you should self-isolate and book a PCR test instead.
Taking a test even if you don't have symptoms is key to stopping the spread of the virus, since 1 in 3 people don't show any symptoms.
For Exmouth residents, the nearest mobile rapid testing site can be found at Foxhole Car Park opposite the Lifeboat Station.
The tests are very quick and easy, with results available within the hour.
Steve Brown, Director of Public Health Devon, said:
"I encourage all residents without symptoms to get tested twice a week. There are now many ways to access testing to suit your particular circumstances either through home testing kits or mobile testing units.
"Testing is particularly important if you leave home to work or volunteer, or if you're a carer for instance.
"If you test positive, you'll be asked to self-isolate for ten days, and if you're negative, you can continue your day but must social distance, wear a face covering when indoors in a public space and wash your hands regularly."
