£1,350,000 – Exmouth's Grand Hotel goes on the market
Exmouth's Grand Hotel has gone on the market for in 'excess of £1,350,000'.
The Hotel is one of two in Exmouth, the other being The Imperial, that announced they would not be reopening after the collapse of hotel operator The Specialist Leisure Group.
The Specialist Leisure Group, the owner of the The Bay Grand Hotel and The Imperial Exmouth Hotel announced it would be laying off 2,460 employees across its UK businesses in May this year.
The Grand Hotel is now being marketed by commerical property agents Savills.
The hotel has 74 en suite bedrooms, a restaurant with seating for 144 people, a bar and entertainment area as well as a guest lounge.
It also has nine staff bedrooms, a manager's bedroom and an owner's flat. The hotel comes with 20 car parking spaces.
A spokesperson for Savills said: "The hotel occupies a prominent position on Morton Crescent overlooking Exmouth seafront and beach, offering sea views across the bay to Dawlish and beyond.
"The centre of Exmouth is 0.3 miles from the hotel. The hotel provides 74 en suite bedrooms and a good range of public areas on the ground and lower ground floors.
"Additionally, there is a 2 bedroom property which provides manager's accommodation with garden."
