Home care company Bluebird Care is currently looking for Care Assistants, Live-in Care Assistants and Night Care Assistants to join its team.

1. Care Assistant

Location: Exmouth

Salary: £10.50 - £26.00/hour (on selected bank holidays)

Hours: Full or part-time, flexible working

Experience level: Full training provided

Responsibilities: Providing personal care duties such as washing and toileting, medication prompting/ administering, manual handling (using equipment where required), promoting customer health and well-being and enabling them to live their life to the full, companionship

Benefits: 30p mileage allowance, 20 days holiday pro rata plus bank holidays, £500 refer a friend scheme T&Cs apply, full induction plus ongoing training and support, opportunities to complete Level 2 Health and Social Care qualifications, career progression, flexible working, pension scheme, access to heavily discount health care scheme, guaranteed hours contracts

2. Live-in Care Assistant

Location: Exmouth

Salary: £613 - £1023/week

Hours: Full time, 2-8 week placements

Experience level: Full training provided

Responsibilities: Providing personal care duties, administering medication, manual handling (using equipment where required), promoting customer health and well-being and enabling them to live their life to the full, companionship, household chores, meal preparation, shopping, social outings

3. Night Care Assistant

Location: Exmouth

Salary: £10.50/hour (waking nights)

Hours: Full or part-time, flexible working

Experience level: Full training provided

Responsibilities: Sleeping in the customers home and supporting them up to three times a night with personal care, toileting & continence care [sleep-in only], all aspects of personal care such as showering, bathing, dressing, toileting & continence care, assisting and prompting with medication, preparing and serving food and drinks, safely using aids and personal equipment in a manner that respects the dignity of customers, supporting a customer through temporary and terminal illness, including end of life care

NB: Waking Nights Carers work from 10pm to 7am. Referrals made on the day of booking. You will be guaranteed pay for the full night even if there is no booking. You must be available to receive referrals for the night up until 2am of each shift. Travel is paid if you are expected to travel more than 30 minutes from home.
