Exmouth: Bluebird Care commits to 17% wage rise for care assistants

Bluebird Care's offices in Exeter, Exmouth, East Devon, and North & West Devon have announced a 17% pay rise for their Care Assistants.
The inflation-beating pay rise has been announced in response to the exceptional work of their team.
The home care provider, which is rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission – the highest award available in the industry, delivers premium home care services throughout the region, including home visits, live-in care, companionship and complex care plans.
Bluebird Care Exeter, Exmouth, East Devon, and North & West Devon have recognised the heroic actions of their Care Assistants throughout the pandemic. The emphatic 17% pay rise is applicable to every member of staff who has passed their 3-month probation period.
The UK is currently experiencing a shortage of health and social care workers across the country and Devonshire and its surrounding areas are not exempt. Bluebird Care Exeter, Exmouth, East Devon, and North & West Devon therefore hope to attract more Care Assistants into the industry with competitive pay that values and appreciates the invaluable work of the industry.
