Bee friendly window boxes planted at the Bicton Inn

By Guest

29th Jul 2021 | Local News

These colourful bee friendly window boxes have been specially planted to encourage the insects to visit the Bicton Inn and include plants known to be liked by bees.

Due to the use of insecticides, disease and other factors, bees are becoming scarcer.

The planters which feature models of hives, and beekeepers, include facts and jokes about bees and have already propagated interest and discussion from local wildlife groups and those who have seen them.
