BREAKING: 54-year-old woman killed in 'serious incident' near Woodbury

Police have confirmed a 54-year-old woman has died in a serious collision on the B3179.

The incident took place at around 1am today at Globe Hill, near Woodbury.

A police spokesperson said: "At approximately 1am on Sunday, March 8, 2020, police were called to a Road Traffic Collision involving a BMW 1 series car and a pedestrian on Globe Hill, Woodbury.

"Tragically, as a result of the collision a 54-year-old female pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene

"Local officers as well as Officers from the Specialist Roads Policing Team attended the scene."

The police are requesting any witnesses or persons with dash cam footage of the incident to please contact 101 quoting the log number 75 08/03/20 or email [email protected].
