The B3179 is closed in both directions this morning after a 'serious incident' at Globe Hill near Woodbury.
Fire crews from Topsham and Danes Castle, together with a heavy rescue vehicle and supporting appliance from Middlemoor in Exeter, were sent to the scene at around 1am after being alerted by paramedics that the driver of the vehicle was trapped inside.
