Cyclist hospitalised after collision with car near Woodbury Salterton

A cyclist involved in a crash with a car this morning near Exmouth had to be taken to hospital.

The incident at White Cross Road near Woodbury Salterton took place at around 7.55am today.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Nub News: "We were called by the ambulance service with reports of a collision between a car and a cyclist in White Cross Road, Woodbury Salterton, at around 7.55am.

"The male cyclist was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be serious at this time."

We have received unconfirmed reports that the Devon Air Ambulance was involved in the emergency services' response to the incident.
