Engineering work to disrupt Exmouth trains this weekend

Engineering work on the railway between Exeter Central and Exmouth is set to disrupt services this Sunday (16 October).

The work on the Avocet Line is unrelated to recent strike action.

Trains will reportedly be affected until 6pm on Sunday. At the time of writing, replacement bus services are planned for the duration.

A spokesperson for Great Western Railway (GWR) said: "Rail improvement work will affect trains between Exeter Central and Exmouth until 6pm [on Sunday 16 October]."
