Beach wheelchairs provided by Exmouth Town Council are now available to book online.

The service is free and operates from a purpose-built unit on Queen's Drive near the RNLI Lifeboat Station. Donations are welcome.

There are eight wheelchairs available, with four for children and four for adults.

Online bookings can reportedly be made as of today (Monday 25 July), but your correspondent can see the link is not yet functional at the time of writing.

The bookings will be for the week beginning Monday 1 August and the service is expected to operate from Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm.

If you would like to volunteer and help out with the service, contact Mollie Carey at Exmouth Town Council on 01395 276167 or email [email protected].
