Sections of the Esplanade that were closed to traffic for the building of tidal defences have now reopened.

Exmouth Tidal Defence Scheme said on social media: "We would like to take this opportunity to thank the local community for your patience and cooperation over the last 2 years whilst we have constructed the tidal defence works in Exmouth."

The landscaping in the area is planned to be completed in November this year.
