Exmouth Library is working with Exmouth Pride to celebrate LGBT+ history month with an afternoon celebrating the diversity of families.

Specially selected children's books which celebrate diverse families will be read aloud and there will also be an opportunity for children to create their own artwork celebrating their own families.

A spokesperson for Exmouth Library said: "Families come in all different shapes and sizes in seeing this, children can start to learn about difference, inclusivity, kindness and tolerance."

The books are aimed at primary school children but children and parents of any age are welcome to attend.

Exmouth Library will host the event on Saturday, February 22, between 2pm and 3.30pm.
