Exmouth man's mission to motivate others using personal experience
Many within the Exmouth community will have heard of Corin Bryant, the man who swam in the sea every morning for 'Movember' raising an impressive £1,260 for the cause.
Now the man who achieved such an inspirational transformation in his own life is sharing his secrets for success by providing a motivational speaking service, which is free of charge while he hones his skills.
The act of taking initiative in this manner, something of an inspiration in itself.
As Corin stated in a recent post on social media: "I want to share the motivational principles that I've learned and applied, so that my experiences and hard-learned lessons might help others out of a dark place, or even avoid that dark place altogether.
"I know first-hand what it's like to be at rock bottom, and I've learned how to get up and move forwards.
"Along the way I've learned the mental discipline and focus needed to achieve health, happiness and success and it's time to start sharing the best of everything I picked up along the way."
One group to take advantage of the offer are the Exmouth Tri-hards who have booked Corin for a 45-minute talk: 'Lighter - a motivational talk on weight-loss and mental health.'
The event will take place on Sunday, 1 March at Ocean from 5pm, costing £5, with proceeds going to the Haven Project, an Exmouth-based charity supporting children with their mental health.
Tri-hards, Shelly Stammers said: "Corin is keen to share some simple yet powerful strategies for success which are based around both his professional studies and personal experience.
"The talk will cover motivational habits that can help us achieve success; such as, getting through the 'wobbly phase' and fearless introspection."
