Exmouth Pride 2020 dates announced

The dates for Exmouth Pride 2020 have been announced today.

The town's yearly event to celebrate diversity will this year take place on Saturday, June 20, at Manor Gardens.

This year will mark the event's sixth year in the town and the organisers are hoping this year's event will be the best one yet.

A spokesperson for Exmouth Pride took to social media today to invite the whole town to this FREE event. They said: "Time to put our sixth Exmouth Pride event in your diaries. Everyone is welcome to this open FREE event in the Manor Gardens to 'celebrate diversity together'. A wonderful day of entertainment, education, support, advice, activities and celebration.

"Watch the social media and website for announcements as to what we have in store for you - and let's hope the sun shines."

Last year's event saw Manor Gardens transformed by the traditional rainbow colours of Pride and by an enormous Dr Martens boot centre piece to mark 2019's theme of 'stepping out'.

Thousands of people gathered in Manor Gardens to listen to live music from local bands.

Not wanting to be left out, a number of the town's business created Pride themed window displays to show their solidarity with the event.
