Update: The road has been cleared.

A Devon County Council spokesperson said: "We received a report that a tree had come down in Dalditch Lane, Budleigh Salterton, this morning at around 8am and was leaning against power cables. This tree has now been removed and the road was reopened just before midday today."

A road near Budleigh Salterton is currently blocked both ways due to a fallen tree and power cables.

Dalditch Lane is blocked from Lee Ford to B3179 Outer Ting Tong. Cars reportedly cannot get past due to potentially live electric cables in the road, according to the AA.
