Firefighters called to Exmouth roof fire

Fire crews from Exmouth and Exeter were called to a roof fire in Exmouth on Monday (August 3).

A flat roof of a property in central Exmouth was well alight when firefighters arrived at around 4.15pm.

Fire crews used a hose reel jet and tools to extinguish the fire.

The fire is believed to have been caused accidentally.
